Set Up a Coin Changer in POSitouch

Configure the Coin Changer Setting

1. Go to Admin > Back Office Setup > Hardware > Terminal Stations > Page 1.
   

2. Locate the Coin disp. field.

Important: This field defaults to None and must be changed to On Chk Prntr Port. This is the only database setup required in the POSitouch software.

3. From the Coin disp. dropdown, select On Chk Prntr Port.
4. Select Ok.

Connect the Coin Changer Cable

Note: The coin changer connects to the terminal and printer using a "Y" cable with three connector ends.

1. Remove the printer cable from the check printer port on the back of the terminal.
   

2. Connect the longer, unlabeled end of the "Y" cable to the check printer port on the back of the terminal.
   

3. Connect the end labeled Coin Changer to the cable coming from the back of the coin changer.
4. Connect the end labeled Printer to the printer cable you removed from the terminal in step 1.
