Update Menu Item Prices in POSitouch
Description: Learn to update menu item prices in POSitouch using an order screen or Menu Items & Recipes.
You can update menu item prices from the order screen where an item appears or by searching for the item in Menu Items & Recipes.
Update a Price From an Order Screen
- In POSitouch Navigator, select Menu Editor.
- Select Edit an Order Screen.
- Select the screen that contains the menu item.
- Select the menu item's cell.
- Select Lookup.
- Enter the applicable prices in:
- Price 1
- Price 2
- Price 3
- Select Save.
- Select Exit.
- Select Save.
- Repeat these steps for any additional items on the screen.
- After all items on the screen are updated, select Exit.
- After all applicable screens are updated, select Exit.
- Select Update Prices from the Table of Contents.
- Select Immediate System Change.
Update a Price From Menu Items & Recipes
- In POSitouch Navigator, select Menu Editor.
- Select Menu Items & Recipes.
- Select Search By #.
- Enter the item number.
- Select OK.
- Enter the applicable prices in:
- Price 1
- Price 2
- Price 3
- Verify the item's Discounts settings.
- Verify the item's Tax Eligibility settings.
- Select Save.
- Repeat these steps for any additional menu items.
- After all applicable items are updated, select Exit.
- Select Update Prices from the Table of Contents.
- Select Immediate System Change.
