Description: Learn how to subscribe to updates and verify the operational status of systems and alerts through the Shift4 Support website.

Access External System Status Using the Shift4 Website

Use this section to verify if any systems are not operational.

  1. Navigate to the Shift4 Support website.
  2. Select Support > System Status.

When the external Systems Statuspage is accessed:

  • If any of the systems are not operational, the specific systems will appear. 
  • When all systems are operational, the following will appear:

Subscribe to Alerts from External Page
  1. Navigate to the Shift4 Systems Status page
  2. Select Subscribe to Updates
  3. Choose a notification method along the top row of the pop-up box.
    Note: When selecting a notification method, additional instructions may appear for verification.

Icon Notification Method

Email notifications whenever Shift4 creates, updates or resolves an incident. 
(Enter an email address for email notifications)

Text message notifications whenever Shift4 creates or resolves an incident. 
(Select a Country Code and Phone Number)

4. Place a check mark next to the components to receive notifications.

4. Select Save at the bottom right of the screen.
