Change InCharge Trend Calculations
Description: Learn how to modify the trend calculations displayed on your Dashboard to gain insights and track transaction data over time.
Shift4 InCharge trend calculations allow you to track and analyze your transaction data over time. These trend calculations can provide you with valuable insights into your operations and help identify areas for improvement.
Important: The sales numbers in the Shift4 InCharge app do not include open tickets.
Change the Trend Calculation on the InCharge Dashboard
- Tap the three dots menu in the upper right.

- Select one of the Trend Calculations from the list (see below).

InCharge Trend Calculation Options
- Calculate Average: Uses the average of the last six weeks.
- Last Week: Uses the same day from the previous week.
- Last Month: Uses the same day from the previous month.
- Last Year: Uses the same day from the previous year.
Changing the calculation to one of the historical options (Last Week, Last Month, Last Year) is helpful for determining the effectiveness of a marketing campaign or measuring growth for scheduled pricing, such as a Happy Hour.
