Kiosk Installation Guide

Description: Learn about the Kiosk installation process for Shift4 Dine POS.

Note: After connecting Kiosk, configure it in Shift4 Dine Customer Hub to ensure it is set up correctly for use.

Kiosk Physical Installation (LAN Setup)

To install the Kiosk, proceed with the following steps.

Plug the TP-Link router's power cable into the back power port, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Connect the TP-Link router to your modem/router by plugging one of the provided Ethernet cables into Port 1 on the TP-Link router and the other end into a LAN port on your modem/router.

Turn the Kiosk over to see the bottom of the base. There are two USB-C ports. Plug the Kiosk USB Hub into one of the USB-C ports.
One of the provided Ethernet cables should be plugged into one of the USB Hub's LAN ports, and the other end should be plugged into Port 2 of the TP-Link router.
Plug the Kiosk power cable into the USB Hub's DC IN port, and the other end into a wall outlet.
Turn on the Kiosk terminal by selecting the power button (located at the top of the screen).

Power the L1400 Hub using the supplied AC adapter.
Connect the fixed USB-C cable from the Hub to a USB-C port on the bottom of the L1400 pedestal stand.
