Shift4 Customer Hub 2026w35 Release Notes

Automated Customer Receipts: Customers will now automatically receive an email receipt upon completing a successful payment via a Payment Link in Shift4. No setup or configuration is required — receipts are automatically sent to the email address provided by the customer during checkout.

Note: The updates below apply to merchants who do not use Shift4 Dine.

Alipay+ Wallet Support: Merchants can now view, filter, and reconcile Alipay+ transactions directly in Customer Hub, right alongside their existing card data. Introducing two new fields: Payment Method and Wallet Brand, along with a renamed "Payment Used" label (replacing "Credit Card") make wallet transactions easy to identify across transaction details and exports, without disrupting any existing card-based filters or saved templates.
- Note: Refund Alipay+ Transaction is not yet supported by the Customer Hub. A separate release will address that.
- Note: Clone Transaction, Manual Capture, Void an Authorization, and Tip/Fee Adjustment aren't available for Alipay+ transactions, since wallet payments are processed differently.
Receipts on Demand: You can now view and email receipts for eligible Sale, Refund, and Void transactions directly from the Transaction Details page. Receipts now include the Merchant ID and Processed ARN for easier tracing.
Improved User Search & Location Visibility: Location filtering in the Users list now returns users matching any selected location, so selecting All Locations displays the full user roster. A new Locations column shows each user’s location count and provides quick access to review or update their location permissions.

Location-Level Marketplace Menu Schedules: Locations can now create and manage their own schedule hours for inherited Marketplace Menus without affecting the enterprise or group menu. Local schedules support custom operating hours by day and can be cleared at any time to revert to the inherited default schedule.
