Take a Payment on the Tablet

Description: Learn how to take a payment on the Tablet. 

For a standard credit card payment:

1. Log in to the Tablet as Server.
2. Select an Open Ticket from the Ticket Grid.
   
   
   
   
3. Tap Take Payment, which opens the Payment screen.
   
   

4. Tap Credit. This invokes the PIN Pad, and the card can be dipped or swiped.
   
   

   Note: When looking at the Tablet touchscreen, the chip should be facing away from you so you cannot see it before inserting it. When looking at the number pad, the chip should be facing toward you so you can see it before inserting it.
     
   
      

5. Cancel payment on the PIN Pad.
6. Tap Back.
7. Tap Cancel.
