What Is Third Party Courier Service?
xDine's Third Party Courier service lets you offer delivery to your customers from within the xDine branded experience, with a third-party courier such as DoorDash fulfilling the order for you. As the restaurant, you pay a flat delivery fee, with no commissions.
Contact your Eigen sales representative to learn more. You will need an agreement with the courier to use this service, and the courier will bill you fees directly.
Within xDine, you can charge a delivery fee to the guest to help recoup your costs.
What Guests See During Delivery
Guests receive an SMS from xDine that includes a link to a branded driver tracker. This page uses your xDine branding and lets a guest see where their driver is in relation to the restaurant and delivery address.
Guests also receive SMS updates for events such as:
- Driver arrived at restaurant
- Driver en route
- Driver approaching
- Order delivered
