Change Bump Bar IP Address with Keyboard

Unplug the power from the Bump Pad, then plug in a keyboard to the USB port on the Bump Pad.

2. Plug the power back into the Bump Pad. With the keyboard plugged in, the Bump Pad will go directly to the SEC Enhanced Setup Mode screen; the KVS Monitor will display the setup screen.

3. Confirm that the System Type is set to “ChefXML” first (it should be).

4. Use the arrows to scroll down to the IP Address section.

5. Press Enter and use the keyboard to manually type in the IP Address you wish to change the Bump Bar to.

6. Select Enter to save the change.

7. Confirm the Default Gateway is set to 192.168.213.1 (when using the TP-LINK Router). If the Gateway is anything else, you will need to change it:

1. Scroll down to the Default Gateway, then press Enter to manually type in the new Gateway.
2. Enter “192.168.213.1” and press Enter again to save the changes.

8. Select the ESC key to leave the Setup Screen. When prompted, press Y on the keyboard to save the settings to the Bump Bar.

9. Once settings are saved, unplug the power to the bump pad and unplug the keyboard.

10. Plug the power back in without the keyboard connected.

11. Check ChefXML settings and set up everything for the KVS to show online.

Change Bump Bar IP Address without Keyboard

If you are unable to locate a keyboard, follow these steps using the Bump Bar:

Hold CLR and 0 to boot to the SEC Enhanced Setup Mode (bottom left and right buttons).
- Use Buttons 9/0 is to toggle through the options.
- FUNC Key = enter/proceed
- Use 0-9 to enter the numerals of the IP
- Use the ESC key to enter a period (.)
- CLR Key = Backspace
Once the IP is in place, select FUNC.
Make sure the “default gateway” and “System type” are also correct.
Select ESC to save the settings, CLR = Yes and HELP = N0. BumpBar should reboot.
Check ChefXML settings and setup everything for the KVS to show online.
