Epson TM-m30 Printer Self Test

Description: To perform a self-test on the Epson TM-m30 Thermal Printer, follow the steps outlined in the article below. Make sure that the printer paper cover is closed before beginning. 

1. Turn off the printer. 
2. While pressing the Feed button, turn on the printer.
   • Hold down the Feed button until printing starts.
3. Release Feed when the red paper button flashes (about 6-7 seconds).
4. Briefly press the Feed button (less than one second) to continue the self-test.
5. The printer prints using the built-in character set.
6. After “*** completed ***” is printed, the printer is reset and switches to standard mode.
7. If no report prints, then retry these steps.

Important: Avoid letting go of the Feed button too soon after power-cycling. Repeat the steps above until you are able to get one to print successfully.
