Assemble and Install the AllThread Ceiling Mount

Tools Needed

• Hex bit, 3/16" (for drill)
• Wrench or socket driver:
• 7/16"
• 9/16"
• 3/4"
• 1 1/4"
• Drill

Ceiling Mount Box Contents

Step 1: Attach the Bump Bar Holder to the VESA Mount

1. Attach the Bump Bar Holder to the VESA mount.
2. Use two nuts, washers, and locking washers to secure it.
   

Step 2: Attach the Support Channel to the VESA Mount

1. Attach the Support Channel to the VESA mount.
2. Use one screw, one thumb screw, and two washers and two locking washers to secure it.
   

Step 3: Attach the U-Bracket to the Support Channel

Attach the U-Bracket to the Support Channel.
Note: A plastic washer goes between the U-Bracket and the Support Channel.

Step 4: Mount the Bump Bar Holder

Mount the Bump Bar Holder.

Note: Use the two longer screws to mount the holder. Use the smaller screws for the lock piece on the left, as shown in the image below

Important: Before mounting the monitor, decide which side the PC will be located on. Consider which side the customer needs to access to power the PC on and off once it's mounted. Keep in mind the side will be reversed once mounted.

You will need the following parts to mount the monitor:

• VESA Extension Bracket
• NUC Mounting Bracket
• Monitor
  

Step 5: Install the PC Bracket, Monitor, and Monitor Mount

1. Decide whether the PC bracket will be mounted on the right or left side of the monitor.
   
   

2. Once you've chosen a side, screw in the four screws to secure the VESA mount and PC mount.
   

Step 6: Install the Bump Bar

1. Remove the stand from the Bump Bar.
2. Slide the Bump Bar onto the mount while holding the cable tight to prevent it from kinking.
   
   

3. Close the Slide Retaining Bracket and screw it in place.
   

Step 7: Install the PC

1. Install two screws into the bottom of the PC.
2. Slide the PC into the mounting plate with the power button facing out.
   
   

Step 8: Connect All the Cables

Important: Keep all cables as neat and orderly as possible.

1. Starting at the bottom, zip tie the Bump Bar cable to the bracket.
   

2. Zip tie any extra cable to the Support Channel.
   

3. Wrap the HDMI cable around the PC, then connect it.
   >

Step 9: Mount the Rod Adapter to the AllThread Rod

1. Screw the AllThread rod through the Rod Adapter so the locking nut can be applied.
2. Tighten the two screws to secure the Rod Adapter to the AllThread rod.
   
   

Step 10: Mount the Rod Adapter to the U-Bracket

1. Put two screws with a locking washer and washer into the top two screw holes on the Rod Adapter.
2. Attach the U-Bracket to the Rod Adapter, then tighten.
   

Step 11: Attach Power and Network Cables

1. Plug in the monitor power, PC power, and network cables.
2. Route the cables up to the ceiling power and network plugs.
   Note: Keep the cable routing as clean as possible.
   

Step 12: Attach the White Cover

 Attach the White Cover over the AllThread rod.
