POSitouch Files and What They Contain

| QM.mdb | Primary Database file for QuickMenu |
| QMscrns.dat | Your QuickMenu order screens |
| QM.exe | The executable that runs QuickMenu. |
| Indata.dbf | Your menu items and recipe information |
| Fcostn.sys | An index file of your menu items and recipes sorted numerically (by item number) |
| Fcosta.sys | An index file of your menu items and recipes sorted alphabetically (by item description) |
| Fcostm.sys | An index file of your menu items and recipes sorted by Major and Minor categories |
| Inmaster.dat | Major and minor category setup |
| Screens.dat | MenuW order screens, their layout (which options are called from each menu item, etc.) |
| Screens.sys | Hardware setup (ex. Routing, terminal station setup, etc.) settings in Restaurant Misc. data, Payment, tax rate setup, discount setup, front of the house setup for T&A, |

| USMMDDYY.inv | This is the Checkfile format (which is the file that holds the days business, so for example July 12, 2022 would be us071222.inv). |
| USMMDDYY.Txx | This is a copy of the checkfile that is made every 10 minutes (example us071222.T00 is the most recent copy, and 10 minutes before that is us071222.T01, etc.) |
| USMMDDYY.Pxx | This is a copy of the checkfile that is made every time an immediate system change is made. |
| SPCWIN.EXE | This is the executable that runs our front of the house software. |
| POSITERM.EXE | This is the software that loads the front of the house on the terminals. |
| Winterm.ini | The file that tells where the bit maps are held, the terminal type, the address of spcwin, this also holds listen and connect settings (Note: If positerm loads with a white screen and sits there, you will look in winterm.ini and compare listen connect port settings to what is in spcwin.ini). |
| Punch2.dat | This holds the punch in and out records as well as adjustment records that are done from the front of the house. |
| SPC_M.hlp | Manager screen help file (can be customized) |
| SPC_F.hlp | Front screen help file (can be customized) |
| Lookup.txt | File that holds item info such as allergy alerts, recipes, types of containers for takeout etc. The site would need to create this, as it is based on the inventory numbers of their specific items. |
Command Prompts from the POS Driver \sc Directory

| Qm repair | This will repair errors in the database. |
| QM Compact | Compresses the database for speed of use and maintenance. |
| Qm.exe | To start QuickMenu |
| Bow.exe | Bring up the backoffice |
| Bosetupw.exe | Bring up the setup in the backoffice |
| Bohardw.exe | Bring up setup hardware |
| Spcwin.exe | Executable to start the front of the house software |
| BOW 70 | This command will do an immediate system change from the command prompt of the POS driver. |
| Taredo Reindex | Time and attendance employee file |
| Taw tareset | To set the current week in Time and Attendance, reread the punch file, etc. |
| Inredo Runwait foodcost |
