Reminder: SkyTab POS is now Shift4 Dine. You'll notice the new name across your system and support materials, but nothing about your day-to-day has changed.
New Features
- Schedule Send allows you to set a timer on held items so they automatically fire to the kitchen at the right time, no manual follow-up needed.
- With Due Time, you can schedule when orders should be ready, helping teams manage time-sensitive orders across Workstations, kitchen printers, and Kitchen Display Systems.
- The Matrix Items & Attributes feature allows Multi-Location Management users to create Attribute Groups and Values and configure a Matrix Item to replace multiple menu buttons with a single, guided ordering flow.
- Default Modifiers can now be configured for menu items so that ingredients are pre-selected during order entry.
- Advanced Item Search allows users to set up item search fields on the Workstation and assign BIN numbers to menu items in the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.

- Users can now View, Reprint, and Void Completed Tickets without returning to a fixed Workstation.
Improvements
- Label Printer Order Number Size Setting: Added a Workstation setting to configure order number text size on Label Printers (Normal, Tall, Wide, Large).
- Discounts can only be toggled to Active or Inactive on the POS. All other configuration changes (amounts, rules, etc.) must be made in Customer Hub.
Bug Fixes
- Future Order Print Duplicates: Resolved an issue where Future Orders may have been printed multiple times.
- Print Status Display: Resolved an issue where the incorrect print status (Sent/Failed) was displayed in Ticket Grid and Order Entry.
- Kitchen Chit Table Name/Number: Resolved an issue where the Table Name/Number may not appear on Kitchen chits.
- Kitchen Display System Ticket Flash: Resolved an issue where tickets briefly appeared and disappeared on the KDS when Ticket Auto Merge was enabled with item and modifier print assignment.
- Receipt Printer Line Spacing: The configured receipt printer line spacing is now respected.
- Virtual Printer Assignments: Resolved an issue where Virtual Printers did not always print items assigned to them.
- USB Ticket and Receipt Printer Configuration: USB Ticket and Receipt printers can now be configured on the same Workstation.
