Configure Item-Specific Promos in Squirrel

Set Up an Item-Specific Promo

1. Open Squirrel Explorer or Squirrel Back Office.
2. Go to Advanced Setup > Promo Setup.
3. Choose the promo from the This Record dropdown.
4. Make sure Promo By is set to CHECK.
5. In the bottom part of the window, find the section called Select Menu Entries or Categories for this Promo.
   • The left side shows your available categories.
   • The right side shows the categories and menu items linked to the promo.
6. Select a category, then select the check mark to add the entire category to the promo. Adding a category adds all items in that category.
7. Double-click a category folder to see the categories and items within it. You can also add specific items instead of an entire category.
8. To remove a category or item, select the folder or item on the right side, then select the X icon.
