Configure Text to Pay in xDine

Complete the POS Setup

Enable Text to Pay

1. In xDine Admin, navigate to Settings > Solution Package and enable Text To Pay.

Configure Text to Pay

1. Navigate to the xDine Admin Portal.
2. Navigate to Settings > Text To Pay.
3. Select a default community if multiple communities are linked to a location.
4. Enable Text to Pay for one or more fulfillment types.
5. For each fulfillment type, choose the order type, revenue center, cost center, or department, depending on your POS, that should be used for that fulfillment method. For example, if you use order type "Togo" on MICROS RES for phone-in orders, enter that order type ID into xDine. You can link multiple order types to one fulfillment method.

Enable Pickup Arrival Notifications

For pickup orders, you can also enable SMS notifications under Settings > Pick Up. If enabled, guests receive an SMS with an arrival notification link they can select. When selected, the restaurant receives a notification for in-store or curbside orders.
