How Do I Resolve This Error?
- Double-check that Remote App Config is not red in the location setup and that the Department Number setting is set.
- You might also encounter this error if the Department Number is set to an incorrect value.
Important: If you have to make any changes to the Squirrel config, you will need to ask the merchant to shut down and restart their business on the next business day. Always make sure they are alright with you doing this, as it temporarily makes their POS unusable. You do not need to restart the business day if you are only changing the Remote App Config.
